Corrections
Every correction made to a published entry is listed here, with its date, what changed, and the version that was replaced. Corrections are never silent.
Why this page exists
A register that quietly edits itself is worth nothing. If we get a figure wrong, the honest repair is not to fix it and move on — it is to leave a record that we got it wrong, so a reader can judge how often that happens and what we do about it.
What counts as a correction

| A source was withdrawn or retracted | the entry is marked retracted and stays visible with the reason |

A typographical fix that changes no meaning is not a correction and is not listed here. Everything else is.
While a check is in progress
When a source publishes something that may affect a published entry, the entry carries a banner saying it is under review, before anyone has decided what to change. The banner states that a correction exists on the source; it does not assert anything new, and the finding itself is not touched until a human has read both.
This page exists now rather than later, so that it cannot be mistaken — when the first correction comes — for something we built in response to it.
